Fashion Focus 2010, our big chance to one up NYC, Paris, and London, has arrived. That’s right gangstas, it’s fashion week in Chicago. Really… Chicago has a fashion week? 

I think Akon can speak to that:

That’s right, here in Chicago we are doing fashion week hardcore. There are lots of events, but I have just highlighted my favsies below. 

Tuesday:

Macy’s Presents the Chicago Fashion Incubator Designers Past and Present

7pm, Millennium Park, Chase Promenade North

This event is SOLD OUT so I hope you got tickets.

Thursday:

Dress Code

A runway show featuring students from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, The Illinois Institute of Art- Chicago, and The International Academy of Design & Technology. Love it!

7pm, Millennium Park, Chase Promenade North

General Admission $25, Student Admission $10

Friday:

The Art of Fashion 2010 Runway Show

7pm, Millennium Park

VIP ticket and admission to the after party at The Underground for $95

Saturday:

FashionChicago 2010 Exclusive Designer Shopping

10am to 6pm, Millennium Park

Modern Vintage
