El-Vacation: That's A Wrap

I just watched a segment on "types of gift giving." This USA Today article spells out the deets. Shockingly, it doesn't detail out my gift giving type. 

Each year, I make my holiday purchases right after Thanksgiving. I load up the closet with presents and beautiful wrapping paper- as well as a list of the few special things that I couldn't locate and need to order. Then, I forget all about everything ... until right before Christmas. 

Panic ensues.

I end up purchasing dog Snuggies at Walgreens. An all night wine and adrenalin fueled gift wrap-a-thon follows.  

And that brings me to today. I am currently surrounded by tape, boxes, and sheets of giftwrap (purchased at the Container Store right before Thanksgiving). Due to the impending arrival of our little tot, the all night wine session has been replaced with orange juice and prenatal vitamins. 

I can't even imagine what next year will bring. Happy holidays!
